The Bomber sounds like its from around 99-01. It will be a strong fork, but still it is old, a Swifferman said, there have been huge advances in fork technology. Personally, I have nothing against Manitou's, it will not be as strong, but should perform better. Also if you ever have trouble with the Marzocchi, you will not be able to get internals for it. If you are not going to be riding the forks harshly Iwould get the Manitou, if you are an aggresive rider then maybe get the Marzocchi.

Also the bounce on the fork test is a bad way to choose forks. The marzocchi will always feel plusher compared to its equivalent fork. It is just how they are, the onlything the bounce test can do is help you set-up preload and see if the travel is linear or progressive.
