Actually, what's not fair is the way you abused that poor "s" by cramming it onto the end of "life" without the apostrophe is so plainly deserved. It wanted so badly to express the genitive case, but instead was relegated to the position of a misspelled plural. Ok, just kidding.
Actually, the not fair part comes from the fact that someday you are going to be 60 years old, riding around at a leisurely pace on your $3,000 mountain bike, not truly taking advantage of what it can do, because you're getting old. It seems the times when we can do the most (physically at least), is when we have the least.
