I'm a KCMO commuter. I live in Kansas City proper and work downtown, though. I ride downtown from the Old Northeast (that's not north of the river) every day. About 3.5 miles, so no biggie.
I used to take Oak Street home when I lived in Westport, but 9th and 12th streets are the main component of my regular route nowadays, though sometimes I go home via Cliff Drive, if I am in the mood for a scenic route.
