Love mine as well. Have you considered speedplay pedals? They may look small but have quite a large contact area. I have the stainless, they're super stiff and have 0-15 degrees adjustable float. I'm getting to the point where I have mine almost at zero degrees float after positioning a few times to find the sweet spot.
I have considered a lot of pedal options, but at the end of the day they have to be walkable, that leaves only a few choices, and to be compatable so I can just step into any bike with my Dominators, they have to be SPDs.
Sure I could use my old Shimano M110's for the other 2, but then I would be wearing old shoes
Who knows, things may change, but that the plan for now.
