I went through the same thing yesterday. I did a hard ride Wednesday night. Yesterday it was Sunny and 71 degrees and I was scheduled for a very easy flat ride spending the whole ride in the small chainring. I did about 45 minutes of that then decided to just turn it into a full rest day. I hate wasting nice days like that.
