The main reason for my upgrade would be to get smoother shifting. I can worry about weight later on but mainly I just want buttery smooth shifting. I made a mistake when I was talking about moving up to the 2300. It's the 2200 not the 2300. The 2200 seems to have some really nice components and looks nice but I like the look of the 1500 much better because of the blue and all. I don't think I really really need a 10 speed but I wouldn't mind one. I would rather have smoother shifting than anything. I was recently reading that the 10 speed cranks are better than the 9 speed and they are supposed to very good for smooth shifting. Dangit, such a difficult decision. I'm thinkin' if I can avoid upgrading later on then I may as well get the more expensive bike with better components and not worry bout upgrading at all. Are the parts on the 2200 really that much better than the 1500??

I can't wait to try out the bikes at the shop. I will hopefully ride both the 1500 and 2200. The store I'm going to also have Devinci, Lemond, and Specialized.

I must say a big thank you to all that have posted so far. I am overwhelmed by the responses so far. I really wasn't sure if I was going to get much advice. Thanks again to everyone!
