lol. One time around the track would be too much. Warming up and cooling down is important too.
I used to warm up by running 3-4 laps around the track. After that I used to sprint ~ 100 meters or ~ 12-15 seconds and then walk back to the start which would take me about a minute or so. Repeat for 10-20 times depending on how I felt. Then run 2 laps to cool down. Some times I would be so out of breath and tired that I wouldn't even do the cool down.
The fat just melted off. This workout never took more than 40 minutes.
