I ride on sidewalks a lot, with traffic, when I have to go along major arterials. I cut through parking lots and alleys. I also ride on quiet streets on most of my daily commute. if you keep your eyes and ears open there's no problem. there's no way I'm getting my slow 5-10 MPH butt out on the major arterials where cars are going 50 mph.
