I say ride it until it breaks, my 1998 RS Indy SL has not given up the ghost and I do kinda put a big strain on it, its probably the only part (among the heavily stressed parts) in my bike (along with the rear derailleur) which has not broke or needed maintenance/replacement, hell even my frame went before my suspension, I don't think you need to worry about it unless you are doing some extreme stuff.

In any case that Judy TT is begging to be replaced so just ride it hard until it breaks and you can get a nice fork.
