tlupfer = "tim lupfer". i use it on the internet because it would be so absurd to call me "tlupfer" that people are forced to call me by my first name. i think it's funny when i'm around people who use internet handles in conversation. over on the road forums someone called "the patriot" was talking about a conversation that he had with his wife. in his dialogue he had her calling him "the patriot". it made me laugh to think of the various domestic situations where she might be calling out for the patriot to take out the trash or make dinner.
