You can't go by what someone online tells you about bike size completely. You really need to go somewhere to have them fit you for the first one I think. Some makes will fill better at a different size than others and it depends a lot on your inseam and arm length. I'd suggest at least going to the LBS and riding a couple of comparable bikes to ones you're looking at so you have an idea of what's a good fit.
