My heart goes out to you. Hang in there, and get well soon. I've spent the last 3 weeks healing myself, and it darn near drove me crazy. Joining this forum this past month or so, has given me some insight into just how injury prone this sport can be. At 51, I don't heal like I used too, and I have decided to do my xc riding with caution as a number one priority. Even with this mindset, I have managed to go over the front bars, cut the freak out of my calf, and bounce off rocky paths, from time to time. But I'm getting a better feel for what I can do, and can't do, and when and where to try it.

Hope your time passes quickly. I was in the peak of shape back about 8 years ago when I met with a Ford Bronco, and that left me racked up for a spell. Sounds like your lucky to have walked away from that wreck. Thanks for sharing your story.
