Just look at the diffrence from these pics. Weight with a trials bike typically ranges from 15-30 lbs. Give or take. You need a light but super strong bike. Rims are drilled (usally- See www.echobike.com) for weight, rear hyrolic rim brakes, front disk, single speed, geared very very low I run a 22/18 ratio.
Look at the diffrences in gear set up, frame design, and stems. You can prolly figgure it out.
