A week or so back I posted a question regarding clipless pedals..... Lots of great responses for which I am thankful....
After reading up a bit, I noticed that the Crank Brothers Mallet pedals may fit the bill (clipless for climbing and bunnyhopping and platform for going down hills) and descided to give them a shot.

Tried them out and all I gotta say is wow! These things aren't just marginaly better than SPDs... they are not even in the same league. Getting in and out of them is so much easier.
The real test will be tomorrow on the trails but so far I am a huge fan.
