day 2
Yesterday I hit rain on the way home but I survived with a roundrip average of 11.0 for 21+ miles. I love it! I made it again this morning even though my alarm didn't go off or something and it was 4:40 when I awoke instead of the planned 4:15. I eventually saw Mitch when I got into libertivve so I must have made upmy 6 minutes late when I rolled out of the garage at 5:06. Felt fast on the way in mostly, but soggy, at least not active rain like the home trip yesterday, must have been a tail wind. That should make slogging home a good workout. I tried to clean up the bike some last night, at least the drive train etc but I'm machanically disinclined. Still Im sure my cleaning and relubing attempt is better than nothng. The geometry of m old 7300 seems to funnel grime right to the Front derailer area, it's like a design feature.
