If you really want to retain ghettoness, just get a cheap flipflop and tape over the freewheel threads on the other side.

I also don't understand why you can't just use a flipflop and ignore the extra threading. Formula makes a great simple high flange flipflop hub with cartridge bearings and nice track nuts. I think they go for around $50 or so. For a small fee, I am willing to take any typical aluminum flipflop hub (formula, etc) and machine off the freewheel threading to give you a simpler looking hub. Seriously.
