I'm going to be in Bellingham, WA on a
Ski to Sea Relay team. My son and is housemates have a team put together and they asked me to do the mountain biking leg. (How cool is that?
) The race starts from Mt. Baker with XC and downhill skiiing legs, followed by running, road bike, canoe & mountain bike and finishes with sea kayaking in Squalicum Harbor. They follow it up with lots of beer, food and music in Old Fairhaven.
I feel honored that the college kids asked a couple of us 'old men' to be a part of it (one of the other dads is doing the XC ski). Should be a blast. I love relays.
