Christi and Sarah run a most unusual shop. They can build a frame for you, but I think they'd just as soon build up an older frame with used parts into a sturdy commuter for you, or encourage and enable you to do it yourself. In the whole shop there might be two or three new bikes displayed for sale. In the shop area customers borrow tools and advice. The second time I was there I was offered the use of their truing stand. Their goal is to put people on bikes as their means of transportation in the city. Saturday afternoons they close at 3 pm and sponsor a ride through downtown.
