I highly applaud them for that. 15 yrs ago in this industry there were very few recalls. The bicycle industry isn't even close to the auto industry or other industries in product recalls. Please note above that Shimano's recall is voluntary in conjunction with the CPSC. Doesn't appear to me as though it was a forced recall. These things are hugely expensive for any/every company to deal with.
nope, never had the pleasure of working in a shop. i love my gripshift!!!
