My previous job I was senior enough to have my own parking space. If my bike was locked to the post with the reserved name plate, co-workers knew it was first come first serve.
This job, parking is an employee benefit for everyone. So when parking got tight and the building managers wanted a parking pass back, I gave up mine in exchange for the $75/month parking fee my company was paying for the space I was not using. That is $900 per year just for bike stuff.
