My Silca "Super Pista" came!

Just got home from work today and found my pump waiting for me on the porch. I was very impressed with the workmanship and design, especially the fact that you don't loose any air pressure as a result of removing the nozzle (a fault in every other pump I've tried).

Only problem is that I have a very hard time removing the nozzle without smashing my hands on the spokes.

How do I get the nozzle off easier once I'm done pumping? If I lube the valve with tons of lubricant, will the nozzle slide off when I'm pumping?
