if you're fit, you could do that in a day and not need any more money than for food. a lot of people would do that distance in 2 days. 3 days and 2 nights is a very leisurely pace. if you're trying to be thrifty, you can eat at grocery stores instead of restaurants and check the internet for youth hostels or cheap motels along your route.
