Need help locating rear wheel for cannondale

Guys I bought old cannondale from tag sale. The owner ran over the rear wheel with the car, so I have to replace it. The gear switching mechanism said "suntour" on it so from sheldon brown's site I understood that "suntour" ultra 6-speed hub is 120mm. So I have to find 700c 120mm wheel? Where? Can I replace it with modern shimano wheels that can be found for reasonable price on ebay or amazon?
Here is the picture of surviving gear. I am not sure what to do next, please help. Thank you.

P.S. the prev. owner said wheels size is 27C. Doesn't that equal to 700C?

found answer on same website:
The 630 mm/27 inch size was used on most sporty bikes in the U.S. up until the early 1980s, when it was gradually replaced by the slightly smaller 622 mm size also known as "700C." If your bike was made for 630 mm/27 inch wheels it may be possible to replace them with the 622 mm/700C size if you have room to lower your brake shoes by 4 mm.
