easier said than done steeker... 3 feet out from the curband you may as well be taking the lane because cars will be buzzing you with no room to spare. ride closer to the curb and get caught up in road debris, bad conditions and sewer grates. Signal and politely take the lane and ride as hard as you can and people are still buzzing by you often passing into oncoming traffic. The reality of the situation is alot different from the ideal way things should work
