I recently aquired a 1973 Schwinn World Voyaguer (Lugged 4130 Chromoly/ Dura Ace Cranks eys and a 1976 Super Le Tour 12.2 (Lugged 4130 Chomoly). Both bike needed very little to be ridable, are in great shape and great riders. Total cost for the bikes? Under $200. Both bike look greta and "retro cool" Show me a a 4130 frame ANYWHERE today, let alone lugged and Chromed lugs (World Voyageur)for effectively a $100? Go check the Surly web site and see what they get for a frame of 4130 that is not even lugged! Many of the old Japanese schwinns are great, hand made bikes thatare often overlooked, so good luck!
