I got my tetanus back in July 1996, when I went to work on the fishing boats in Alaska. Since they last 10 years, I know I'm good. I'm glad the doctor talked me into getting it done then- I'll never forget why I got the shot, so I won't forget WHEN I got the shot, so I won't have to put up with another shot because I can't remember when I had my last tetanus.
Man, I hate shots.
