Two things:

drewnolan82: Keep reading around C&V and you'll find many of us riding 20-40 year old Schwinn frames, many made in Taiwan. The general opinion here is that, while considered heavy by modern standards, these are excellent frames for durability and everyday riding. I can't say what happened to your frame and wouldn't argue that any and all Schwinn labeled frames are great, but the one pictured looks good.

sers: someone will pop in here sooner or later and give you the info you are seeking. Have you been to Bob's Schwinn site? Try this link: http://www.geocities.com/sldatabook/cover.html
