You are pretty much limited to Campy's own hubs or Mavics, etc. with a Campy compatible freehub body. Campy cassettes are pricy but not nearly as bad as some of the aftermarket conversion cassettes.

Campy 8-speed hubs are unique and now are orphans. Avoid them. Campy 9-speed hubs and 10-speed hubs both take either 9 or 10-speed cassettes.

You certainly aren't limited to Chorus if you get Campy hubs and/or cassettes. Any of Campy's various group hubs and cassettes will work with your shifters and derailleurs.
