Thank you everybody for the advices and helpful thoughts.
Fortunately, the B&H Cycles in South Pasadena was able to straighten the frame. He also trued the wheel, (which I didn't ask for ) for the total of $45.
Now the bicycle goes in a very straight line and goes absolutely straight with hands off the bar.

So, the frames can be fixed, if damage is not too severe.

P.M. George, thank you to you especially. I will make sure to take a picture of the bike when it's loaded tomorrow; and will definitely check out the forums with every opportunity.
