Whee, new bike-bus-bike commute

After 4 days and 18 gallons driving to a new job I figured out a better way. I can ride to the transit depot in town and put the bike and self on the 5:50 AM bus south, off the bus at 6:55 AM and ride to work 4 miles by 8:00. Plenty of time to secure bike., change, and clock in. The reverse is 4 miles to the bus stop. Buses north at 5:05 PM, 6:05 and 6:55. If I barely miss a departure I can just pedal home before the next bus could get me there. The wild thing is that first morning bus shifts routes, then goes past my wifes' office by the time she gets there. She just could not get home that way. Oh, and I just qualified for a Senior Pass and two months of passes will cost less than I paid for four days of gasoline.

I almost regret I start a better paying job in a month that will be a pure bike commute.
