A tune-up: Adjust the hubs, true the wheels, adjust/trim the brakes, adjust the gears, adjust the headset, wipe down the bike and check all the hardware, can take between thirty minutes and an hour. A basic check, on a new bike, will usually take around ten/fifteen minutes. You may still need to leave it for a while, if the day is booked.
