i would go with the e-thirteen becuase its plastic. plastic is lighter and wont fatigue like the aluminum. granted it can crack, but the high impact plastic (im guessing Makrolon is the name brand for a poly carbonate-like plastic) is insanely tough. plus the aluminum can bend and interfere with your chain line.

or you could make on like i did. took me two hours using 3/8" poly carb. i got a 12" X 14" sheet from tap plastics for $5. i took a scrap piece of this stuff and hit it as hard as i could with a crow bar...just a scratch.
