depends
On one hand, you have a FR bike, and a DH bike on the other.
What kind of riding will you be doing exactly?
The Kona is a little short on travel (IMO) for a true DH rig, but it has a FAIRLY solid component set...the Haro has good travel, but I'm not a fan of Manitou forks or shocks, and the geometry of the rear swingarm doesn't allow a true vertical movement of the rear wheel.
Also, 6061 aluminum isn't as strong as the 7005 Al used on the Kona frame.
On looks, I definatly think the Haro beats the Kona. The Haro is certainly a nice-looking bike.
I can definatly see good and bad points about both bikes....for the money, i'd go with the Kona.
And no, I'm not being biased because I own a Kona Dawg Deluxe.
