I second that. Came of a tour with 120 km/day for 6.5 days (on a city folder). I wear briefs and normal poly zip off pants/shorts (nothing fancy, $20/$30 CDN at Walmart or Canadian Tire). 3 pairs of briefs, washed each evening and air dried.
Get bag balm either way, just in case.
