Some of the new systems use a smaller wattage but have a higher candlepower output. I would suggest the NiteRider Moab...12 and 13.5 watt lights....8 hours runtime on full burn....a bargain at $1100.
Yessah, I was planning to do some road rides on completely unlighted streets in the middle of the night. Something like 30kph-35kph must be able to see where i'm going. Maybe 10w/20w with a narrow beam instead? Hmm.

I was hellbent on getting 2x 10w or 2x 15w ... something like that. Has to be dual. http://www.batteryspace.com/index.as...S&Category=499
