Machka and Rowan are currently making their way to Iowa on the border of Iowa and Illinois, near Davenport Iowa.
Currently they were in Pennsylvania in the rain.
She is planning to ride the 24hr ride

As far as the BMB is concerned, she ate some Chinese food that had been sitting out for several hours.
It had been made for some of the early riders and was left out without refrigeration.
Some of the other riders did the same and they all came down with a measure of sickness.
Some dropped out as a result.
Machka barfed all the way up one of those Vermont mountain roads.
She dropped out just before the route crossed over into Canada.
Rowan joined her in dropping out too.
They caught a ride for a couple hundred km and then rode all the way back to Boston.
By then her strength had returned.
Altogether they rode about 900 km, but of course, they did not complete the ride as prescribed.
