Lake vs Sidi

I have biked two winters now, and I don't like pulling booties over my mountain bike shoes, and dislike frozen feet even more.

Several people have recommended the Lake MXZ301 shoes.

I hear these shoes run a little narrow, and I like regular to slightly wide shoes.

I have come accross Sidi's Winter Storm 3, and it looks nice (and less expensive).

The Sidi doesn't look as warm as the Lakes, but what does looks have to do with it?

Anyway, who has experience with either shoe?
