Wish me well
Ok - it's not technical but it is a Giant Yukon MTB [for this mostly road commuter]. I'm riding the 184 mile C&O canal for the Altzheimers Association of D.C. this weekend.
During the trial runs I had hot spots (numb/pain) on the hands , feet, and a$$. An e-saddle and suspension seatpost seems to handle boys and related areas - they hang free. I already put a Suntour suspension fork on. For the hands I have ironman gloves (some help), a Easton riser bar (just arrived). On order, racing the clock are ergon MP1 grips (on backorder), ergon race grips (somewhere), and a Ritchey pro 120mm adjustable stem ($20 Nashbar - woot). I have some Diadora Patrol MTB shoes as possible replacements for Shimano MTB shoes - SPD.
