Just picked up a 1980's Dawes road bike for $80 today.
531, chrome fork, fender eyelets and nice long horizontal dropouts. Only thing nasty on it besides the handlebar wrap are the galvenized spokes on the rear wheel. They will be replaced before appearing in public.
It should be fixified by next weekend.
I'm actually planning to fenderize my current singlespeed frankenmountain bike for the winter.
