You're right. It's probably not a worth while upgrade. I was mainly wanting the good looks and extra feel from the carbon including smoother ride. Maybe I'll switch directions and look to upgrade to some shimano 105 components - hopefully I can find what I need to know to do that so I want have to start another newbie thread.
