I'd say a 1 week grace period then you have every right to become a legitimate PIA to your LBS. If you've ordered online, call & e-mail daily. If 2 months have passed from the time you were given for a due date to receive your bike that's just plain unacceptable. Your LBS should happily refund your money or give you a nice price break & / or some serious "freebies" & maintenance plan.
I'd say get your money back & find another bike shop.
