I don't have anyone to encoruage me. My wife does notice that I get a little crabby if I don't ride for a couple of days, but otherwise, it's just my desire to ride.
She and the kids were out of town, a few weeks ago and she asked me not to ride. I was a bit puzzled by the request. It turns out she was worried that I might have some sort of mechanical failure and be stuck 20 miles from the house. It may sound a little sappy, but I was touched by her concern and drove the car those two days.
