I use DeLorme TOPO 6.0. I got it for 38.00 on eBay. It is a bit hard to use right out of the box but gets easier with time. I like it for printing routes with profiles and distances. You can save the resulting files as .jpg or .bmp. I usually save as .jpg and compress further with a photo editor such as Paint Shop Pro. The original .jpg here was about 1.25 mb.... shown here it is compressed to 399 kb.
