The day started off being one of those movie set kind...At 5:00am,
a fabulous mixture of weird patches of thick fog that opened
up to spectacular stars and eerie blue shadowing on the roads......
No traffiic except for the OMYA train and very cool ambient....Great stuff !
When I got to work a co-worker told me dont bother punching in
because he already got me. He was concerned that I was about a mile
back from where he usually sees me and didnt want to see a lateness on
the omni-present 'permanent record'
...............Then I remembered
I did have to stop for the train for about 4 minutes which would have put
me that mile back
This got me thinking...My co-workers always ask me if I want I ride when it
rains, beep(as in 'hi') when they go by me and now make sure I dont get
penalized for unforseen situations that might make me late.
