That's a drawback of the LD1000, yeah. The two banks drift in and out of sync. If you truly need that much firepower to get seen in your environment, you might consider going custom with a Nova BULL or a Whelen TIR3. I want to get my paws on the Whelen and check it out, they're offered in a vertical orientation as well as horizontal, which might make them easier to mount on some bikes.
