swapping bars and stems should be primarily because of comfort, to adjust cockpit height or length. if you are sitting good on your bike with your current stem and bars, and if you still do want to 'upgrade' then make sure your new bar/stem is identical to the ones you are swapping, otherwise you change your sitting position.

though it is also good to experiment i think. a shorter stem and riser bar would help you lift the front wheel easier, at the expense of having to use more body english during hard climbs..

race face is good stuff generally.
