I am sad to announce that I must withdraw from the event this year. I had a mishap at work and slipped a disk between my shoulderblades. My doctor has informed me that I will probably not be able to ride at all until at least mid November. Since I can hardly walk and can't lift my arms or head, I suppose he is right, although I hate to admit it.
I wish everyone who is competing the best of luck! If you haven't done this event before you will love it. The course is great, the volunteers are awesome, and the townspeople of Cleburne are very friendly and supportive.
Well, back to bed and the Vicodin for me...
