I´m not sure about a new bike. My options are Scott Scale 30(carbon frame/Hardtail), Scott Genius 30 (carbon frame/full Susp) and Specialized Epic Comp (Alu frame/Full Susp). Have you ever had a real mountain bike before? If not, i wouldn't suggext getting any of those bikes as the are all race bikes. I don't think any of them will be overly comfortable and will probably have a very forward leaning position.
