TrekRider, PG County, near the MoCo county line. I did the B&A a couple of weeks ago. Felt like death when I started, and felt better as I rode, but was saddle sore by the end.
I've been thinking the B&A + BWI trail would make a good long ride for me -- almost 40 miles, yes? -- but haven't got that far yet. Plus I thought the B&A pretty boring!
I like birdwatching, so tend to like wooded trails, or ones that run along a stream or wetlands. I've seen a lot of cool stuff as I bike; definitely one of the attractions of biking for me.
Nice to know from your experience that there is hope for me! I do need to learn how to use the tools someday...
