The lock I had go missing wasn't locked to anything (a bike, pole), but sitting on top a shelf, so if someone stole/borrowed it, it wouldn't have taken any effort to disable any part of it... just pick it up like a loose chain.

I had a couple people ask in PMs how it could have been broken, and it wasn't. The failure was the guy owning the lock, not the lock itself.

Just making sure people know, it wasn't a Kryptonite lock failure in any way, shape or form, it was a failure of me to lock the lock up.
